My research program focuses on the interplay between nutrition and reproduction in ruminants. Furthermore, I am interested in grazing programs and the dynamic impacts different grazing programs have on natural resources in the sagebrush steppe ecosystem of eastern Oregon.

My outreach and extension program focuses on equipping land managers and beef cattle producers with science-based information that promotes healthy land private and public land management.
