I am a wildlife biologist with interests in community ecology, landscape change, and mechanistic research.  I am specifically interested in improving understanding of how wildlife species and communities respond to human-caused habitat change.  My current research is focused on understanding the population dynamics and behaviors of forest grouse in the face of varied anthropogenic pressures, and working with agency collaborators to improve statewide survey efforts.
