The contest consists of four sections students compete in:
- Written exam covering animal science material along with some general statistics, biology, and chemistry
- Oral Group Presentation about a controversial subject with the key being to cover both sides of the issue
- Quiz Bowl that covers animal science material
- Lab Practicum allows students to demonstrate hands on knowledge and how it applies to real life situations
The lab practicum and the quiz bowl are the two favorite activities of all students. Students love the chance to compete and actually show what they’ve learned in their time here at OSU, mainly focusing on animal science.
